Hi, I’m Natalie George. I have grown up in Northwest Arkansas my whole life, and I love calling this place home. As a child, my parents, two older sisters, and I would explore by hiking all over the Ozark Mountains. Ironically, though, I would roll my eyes and reluctantly join. I didn’t consider myself “natural” or “outdoorsy.” I just wanted to hang out with friends, go shopping, or chill. My mom would always encourage us to keep going on hikes. She would tell us all about the botanicals around calling each by name and pointing out God’s creativity all around us from tiny to immense, and I usually just sulked in response. However, it was caught. Growing up in a family that played and explored outside, recycled, thrifted, raised critters, etc., taught me to appreciate all the amazing adventures around me. By the time I reached High School, I had the opportunity to travel overseas several times on mission trips, which was formative. Then, the summer of my senior year, I applied to work at a Christian camp in Colorado, with the encouragement of my middle sister (the more outdoorsy one of us three sisters), and got in! I adored all the mountainscapes, the natural beauty surrounding us, and a deep feeling of peace from our Creator.

I also met my incredible husband, Chad, on that very mountain. He helped open my eyes even more, from little creatures and trees to grand sunsets, all of the things I had ignored or taken for granted in my younger years. It was all coming to life! Fast forward many years. He is a huge influence and help behind Geo. I couldn't do any of this without him and the inspiration of our kids. We laugh now that I'm the one who loves taking my three kids on hikes and outdoor adventures. I encourage us to appreciate the vast and incomprehensible beauty of our Father. I am thankful the Lord kept pursuing me through the whispers of His creation and by those who love and encourage me daily.

Geo is an expression of the many ways I have come to know and love God more through His creation. As I grow, I am increasingly inspired by our original designer and Creator. Geo is born with the hopes that I can provide a fun, light-hearted design that reflects our Creator, and all his marvelous creation. I still like to chill, like that original girl from the beginning of the story, so everything you’ll notice has a very comfortable feel that reflects my desire to make people feel seen and at ease.

We are also dedicated to finding eco-friendly, sustainable wares, as we value the importance of good stewardship of our environment. We believe it is so important what you put in and on your body, so, that had to have a place with Geo. All of our designs are made print to order, and when we can, we source with local print shops. Print-to-order is conducive to zero waste or overstock to not contribute to environmental excess. I had always looked to find small, thoughtful shops to buy gifts for family, friends, and myself that reflect earthly simplicity through unique and natural pieces. Now, I have found that in Geo, and I truly hope you feel the joy and intentionality of our collections as you shop around Geo’s creative pieces.
